At the Last Supper Jesus gave us the gift of the Holy Eucharist.

Psalm 34: 18-21

When the just cry out the Lord hears them and from all their distress he rescues them

The Lord is close to the broken hearted
And those who are crushed in spirit he saves

Many are the troubles of the just man
But out of them all the Lord delivers him

He watches over all his bones
Not one of them shall be broken

A friend

Tonight a dear friend was called home, she and her husband mean a great deal to me and my family.  She was a lovely, kind and sweet lady.  Strong in her faith in our Lord. She will be missed but she is in a better place, no more pain, no more sorrow.  She is in the loving presence of our Lord.  May her soul and the souls of all the departed rest in peace.
